For the last couple of years, I’ve been hooked on online Asian Dramas. Luckily, there are dedicated fans who sub these dramas on their spare time so that viewers like me, are able to partake in the enjoyment of the these dramas that can entertain me for hours. They fill my desire for humor, intrigue and overall romance sap.
The most two recent dramas I have had the pleasure if finishing was “The Man Who Can’t Get Married” and “Hearts of 19.”
“The Man Who Can’t Get Married” is one hilarious drama that I am sad to say has ended with it’s 16th episode. It is about an OCD 40 year old Architect who had been alone his entire life with only his family and work to keep his balanced life who had no desire to ever get married. One fateful night, he is taken to an Emergency room due to some health issues and meets a beautiful doctor who will teach him the meaning of loneliness and learn how to love.
“Hearts of 19″ is a long 122 epsiode drama about a village girl who sails to Seoul for her wedding but due to unforseen forces, turns her life into a whirlwind of drama that is filled with tears of sadness and eventually joy after much adversities. Through it all, her strength and persistence keeps her going and even attracts the man she was meant to spend the rest of her life with.
